  I would highly suggest no one use citi mortgage for your mortgage needs. I have been a mortgage customer with them for 15 years. Never missed a payment and I have excellent credit. I decided to refinance my home in October due to the low rates and incentives they kept sending. The initial application went seemingly well aside from the micro aggressions I experienced during the call. I have been a mortgage broker before and I knew the information that would be needed. I scanned and sent all requested documents the first night. I was told the loan was going straight to underwriting and that the processing team would be in contact. Well that never happened and looking at the online tool It showed that by the Friday everything was received but one thing I sent. So two weeks went by and I still hadn't heard anything and there was a deadline date for the one thing needed or the loan would be kicked out. I called the processor and she was very rude and AGGRESSIVE but trying to keep the peace I just bit my tongue and told her what it was showing me on my side of the loan. She got ruder. I started documenting. Long story short after asking for this to be escalated it never happened and I had to escalate it myself. Her manager gave a crazy response and promised she would be in contact. To date I still haven't heard from her. The loan started in October and since then they only asked for information they already had AGAIN. I escalated this to CEO and he. Escalated it to an executive team who handles these types of problems. They told me to give them 15.days but in this time I got a close date. Yet no address about my claims and the wasted interest that I paid . I closed the 17th and they have yet to pay their original loan off and nobody from citi has addressed this. I have been on the phone for 35 minutes with the title company waiting for someone on the citi team to come to the phone. I also filed complaint with fair housing. The only thing I'm OK about are the terms but with my credit and etc that was never a worry for me. I would suggest anyone thinking to do ANY kind of business with CITI FINANCIAL as a whole to rethink because if you are a minority you definitely will be treated like a MINORITY. THEY think they can make you go away by doing their job, but this minority is going to make you get this right. Not just swept under a rug.

  I tried to open a savings account with these people and before I activated anything or funded the account they sent me an overdraft. Never again.
