Wow, after opening 20mins late, I'm told, "we really don't do loans." Well maybe you should change that bigass sign that says pawnshop. Business dictionary defines as: A store which offers loans in exchange for personal property as equivalent collateral. foh. - 05/27/22 - Outlet or not, it does not change what Pawnshop means. Sorry we could not do business with you Jerry but the name of our store is "City Avenue Pawnshop Outlet". Being an "Outlet", we buy, sell, and trade items only. Other pawnshops in and out the city that have the same distinction will do the same thing. Places that do "loans" will specify that they do in there signs or advertisement. We don't. Our true customers know our prices are great for the specific product and tell us constantly. We are not a thrift store so one should not expect thrift store prices and our items include a warranty with purchase. Most items are discounted if inquired on. Simple communication can go a long way and save some dollars as well. We sell new and used products so everything will not be perfect but works great.
