  Kory Kavanewsky went above and beyond to help me with a double payment issue. His intervention made it possible for me to pay incoming bills without my getting stressed out over a duplicate mortgage payment and not having ready cash. I recommend him so very highly. I would never use a different mortgage broker for my mortgage needs. I would always use and recommend him.

  Very poor experience AFTER we closed. The servicing company is very difficult to deal with. My closing disclosure was for one amount, then it turns out they miscalculated it and my monthly payment would be hundreds of dollars more. I still have not received a satisfactory explanation as to how the closing disclosure, which is supposed to be 100% accurate, was off by so much. I'm buying another home in San Diego this year and I'd rather rent forever than deal with CMG and their servicing company.

  CMG is...utterly and completely amazing. Kory and his group of EXTREMELY dedicated professionals will NOT disappoint you. I absolutely do not write reviews EVER. but CMG blew us away so I created a google account just so I could let folks know about these guys. Do not go with the giant banks like Wells Fargo or US Bank with their slick fast food retail approach to mortgage lending. DEFINITELY go with CMG and their tailor made approach. My wife and I were first time homebuyers and drowning in a sea of inefficient and ineffective home loan providers. Even our bank, which we were extremely happy with for decades, could not compare to CMG. Our bank dithered for about a month in a purchase agreement which had a deadline of two months from initiation. The agreement was further complicated by the fact that it was a sale by owner meaning realtors would not be doing "realtor things" during the process. Kory and his team came to the rescue accomplishing more in the first three days than two large banks had accomplished in a month. In fact, these mortgage professionals met the mortgage deadline set by the seller with half the allotted time left. Kory and his team obviously kept abreast of recent changes to mortgage finance law as well as real estate market trends. They were able to help us navigate the stifling array of mortgage choices to help us find the VERY best mortgage available. They even provided invaluable guidance for negotiating every aspect of the property purchase. The only way homebuyers could possibly be disappointed working with CMG is if the buyers don't have their administrative affairs in order. Kory reacted immediately to every document we submitted. His team answered phone calls, emails, and correspondence even at times when we could not reasonably expect them to. Kory and his team handle mortgages in a market where multimillion dollar deals are the norm. Our little loan was treated with the same level of importance as even CMG's largest deals. They even handled our mortgage for a home in the middle of the US...far from their usual territory. UPDATE: Kory and his team have done it again. Two and a half years after the above review. The team crushed our refinance in the shortest time possible. After renovations to our home we got back an additional $30,000 cash out for further renovations. Really, if you’re not doing business with the guys, you shouldn’t be doing real estate business at all. The only obstacle to a timely mortgage or refinance is inability to get them your documents on time. Get in now before interest rates go higher.
