Coastal services my mortgage and I had already had a negative experience getting my payments to the correct address. I made an appointment at 3pm to discuss an auto loan. I get a call at 8:30 am from someone asking me if I need a loan, and I said yes, but I have an appointment that afternoon. Already a bad sign. I arrived at the bank on time. Zero customers inside the building. One receptionist tells me the person I am waiting to see is at lunch, at 3pm. No one else approached me. One other employee was in her office with the lights off. The person I was waiting for casually saunters in at 3:30 talking on her cellphone, goes into her office and closes the door. I left. I guess they are such a strong and successful bank that don’t need my business. I have never been treated so thoughtlessly when trying to give someone thousands of dollars!

This is not the bank for self employed small business people. Their income to debt ratio metrics are way too restrictive. I do like their seven day access to virtual tellers. Yet the branch personnel leave much to be desired in my experience.
