  Colin was absolutely the most helpful, responsive, and attentive professional I've had the pleasure of dealing with. During a process as daunting as home buying, he reassured us every step of the way, communicating at all hours, and guided us to probably the fastest closing I've ever heard of. Thanks Colin!

  I am confident that Colin McDowell is absolutely the person who you want to handle the financing of your current project, and I'd like to take a moment to explain to you why that is the case. I am not a person that writes reviews hardly ever. Everywhere I look in the world of business today, someone is asking me to write a review. My time is very valuable to me, so that lends me to only be willing to write reviews for rare circumstances of exceptional excellence or dire warning. Colin McDowell is an exceptional circumstance, both as a human being and in the work ethic that he will put forth for you. I have been working with Colin to refinance my home. Unfortunately, a situation has come up of my own doing where we are not going to be able to finalize the refinance. Even with that aspect, this is not a story of misfortune, rather it is a story of triumph. Colin has explored every single avenue possible to try and help me with my refinance, even when it was not to his own benefit. At one point during the process a mistake was made where I granted Colin permission to lock in a floating interest rate with allocated point reduction and the rate did not get locked that same day. This was the night before Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022. The very next morning Colin reached out to me and informed me that costs to buy down the loan had steeply risen, making this mistake a rather costly one. I was absolutely shocked when he told me that he was going to forgo all of his profitable portion of our deal so I would not pay the price for the mistake. Colin was very transparent with me. The reason for the mistake was because Colin had been battling with a unknown health condition that had been plaguing him for months. Over that period he had seen several specialists all to no avail. The unfortunate truth was that Colin didn't have any answers at the time, and his day to day life operated as if it were a coinflip on whether it would be a bad day, or a good one. That was the moment where I realized just how fortunate I was to have Colin McDowell in my corner. Colin is a man that battles adversity, and even during tough times he does not allow his strong moral character to falter. I have a tough time finding people in this world that have such a strong and rare characteristic. This review was important for me to write because I want you to know that you should proceed with confidence. There is no doubt in my mind that Colin will treat you with the same honesty and perseverance that he has me. It is who he is. That is why I say this is a story of triumph, because not only do I consider Colin a friend, but he is the only person that I will look to for my future investment financing needs. Thank you Colin for all the effort you put forth in working with me.

  What a great experience! Closed our deal in under 30 days from start to finish with a Clear to Close in only 10 days. Responsive and always available which made the whole process enjoyable. Highly reccomend!
