  Collin was an amazing loan officer! From the very beginning, he was very attentive to what our goals were. He always explained everything very well and in easy to understand terminology. Whatever questions I had, he always had answers. He ensured an easy and speedy pre-qualification. He was able to provide pre-qualification letters ASAP every time we put in an offer on a home. He would research the homes we were interested in and found the taxes for the property and any Mello Roos or special assessments. He would then run the numbers and give us a super accurate estimate of the monthly mortgage. This allowed us to know if the purchase would be within our budget. He guided us through a very volatile housing market. He is always monitoring the interest rates to ensure you will lock in on the right time. He called me in the middle of our escrow period and told me his prediction model indicated there would be a significant rise in interest rates the following day and encouraged me to lock in our rate that same day. Sure enough, the next day the rates surged and continued for the whole week. He ensured we locked in at the right time! He also explained the process of buying down our rate with the proceeds of our current sale. He ran comparisons with different rates and showed me the break even point where we would start to save money on a monthly basis on our mortgage. He was never pushy with anything and made sure that we were comfortable with all of our decisions. Collin made the home purchasing process a whole lot easier and gave us ease of mind having him in our corner. I recommend Collin 120%.

  Collin is an expert on Veterans Administration (VA) home loans and very knowledgeable of the real estate market in the San Diego area. He worked very closely with us to figure out how much of a home we could afford, got us through the underwriting process early, and got us through closing without a hitch. More importantly, he is respectful, courteous, and very responsive and gave thoughtful answers to our questions and concerns. We cannot recommend him highly enough!
