  I’m going to be honest, I’ve never had a “favorite bank” before. But… Have you ever seen Cheers? Where everyone knows your name? That’s the perfect way to describe this bank! They always take care of you, and you are without a doubt not just another number. I recommend all my family and friends to use this bank.

  I have been a customer of Commerce Bank for over 20-years and have watched this bank slowly decline, especially the customer service as of the last few years. I recently found out they outsource their online payments to a 3rd party, who sometimes does make electronic payments to the payers you setup on their online payment page, however, they also send paper checks to payers which increases the time it takes for receiving the payment. I just received a mailed notification that my car loan payment hadn't been received 19 days after it was debited from my checking account! After several calls to the place that holds my car loan and commerce bank (after being transferred around depts and waiting on the phone for 45-min to speak to someone) all I was able to find out was that the check the 3rd payment party (that commerce bank contracts with) sent out a physical check for my car loan payment late. I will likely be charged a late fee for my late payment, and it could also affect my credit score. It's finally time for me to leave Commerce Bank and find a bank that has been able to stay current with the times and truly values its customers.
