What a horrible experience. If you apply for a loan at different lenders in a short amount of time, your credit will not suffer much. But when it takes a lender almost 4 weeks to deny a loan it will surely effect your score which will make it that much harder to apply at another bank. It's ok that we got denied the loan probably because of ESG, but to wait almost 4 weeks before finding out is terrible! I have gotten many loans and it has never taken over 4 days. With this bank your looking at 27+.

Overall it was fine, but we learned later that for the first 30days after opening an account they put a hold for 9 days on all checks, which would of been okay if they would of told us that when we opened the account, but they did not. They even put a hold on a money order for 9 days.....most of our money was inaccessible.
