  Set up my mortgage in Sept 2021. Found out in January 2022 my mortgage agent and lawyer failed to calculate my mortgage payment accurately resulting in a $7000 liability I had to satisfy. Called my agent for help(holding back name for now) and he failed to even return my call after an initial conversation to assist me. I have since left 2 voicemails for this branch manager to call me with no response as of yet. I am working through their customer service and have had to contact their corporate office today in Ohio. I would like nothing better than to resolve this with the head of the Melville LI office so I wrote this review as a last effort to get the help, a call back and service warranted when a customer puts their faith into Cross Country to be their advocate when buying home

  As first time home buyers, Mike Gerardi helped get us pre-approved for a mortgage within days! He answered all of our questions, which were endless, and truly cared about helping us. Above all that, he was honest and trustworthy, traits that are hard to come-by! When it came time to purchasing our first home, we put all trust in Mike, and he was able to get us to a closing date within 28 days of being accepted! He even handled everything for us while we spent 2 weeks on our honeymoon in Europe. Mike is professional, yet funny, and really made the entire process exciting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
