      This was our second home purchase and Chad Baker’s team at CrossCountry Mortgage did a phenomenal job. They were very responsive, very fair, and on top of everything.       We were referred to Jacob by a family friend, to refinance my parents home. This was post pandemic 2022, my parents had a temporary forbearance (3 months during the pandemic) in 2020. Well his associate Roman, explained that in order for my parents to refinance, they would have to pay back the amount they owe from last years forbearance and make three payments afterwards. That defeated the whole purpose for my parents refi, since it was to save money. Anywho we went with someone else and we had to do none of that. It was a straight refi with a conventional loan. Not sure if there is a reason why Jacob and team asks you to do this (bigger Commission?) or they don’t know what they are doing.
