      I wanted to take a moment to give good press to Alleonor Estrada at the Palm Valley branch. She went WAY above an beyond to help me with a cashier's check issue that went missing. Things like this can be stressful to say the least, but with Alleonor's help the matter was resolved and the funds will be back in my account very shortly. All this after following up on her own to make sure not only was the cashier's check not cashed, but then her personal follow up with me directly on this matter was a big piece of mind. All to often people only report the bad things that happen. Today, something really great happened- And that is exclusively because of Alleonor's extra effort and follow up. I have been with Desert Financial for more than 20 years. It's people like Allenonor that keep me coming back. It's nice to know that when something does go wrong she'll be there to assist. I firmly believe: Good help is NOT just hard to find, It's hard to KEEP! Alleonor is very good help- Please take a moment to recognize her for the outstanding job she did helping me with what could have been a super stressful situation- Respectfully, Ron C.

      We have been with this bank for over 20 years and I absolutely HATE IT. (important note: employees inside of bank are very nice.) I was so fed up years ago that I got my own account at a different bank but my husband stays because of the hassle of switching. I have CONSTANT problems with making online electronic payments, cards being shut down when we travel, auto payments not going through when funds are in our acct, super long waits at drive thru atms, “customer service” taking 30 min-1 hour EVERY time I need to call, and on and on and on. I do not have any of these issues at 1st Bank. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PUT YOUR $ UNDER YOUR BED IN A SHOEBOX before joining Desert Financial.
