  I wish I could write a positive review on how my cancel was handled or being handled but unfortunately, it's been almost a year and we move 1 step forward and 3 steps back. I hired them so I did not have to communicate with the ex anymore however over the past several weeks, I am the one trying to get this case done and over with. The team I am working with is not as responsive, even after several emails. This is quite unfortunate

  UNBELIEVABLE! I never write reviews. But everybody deserves to know how amazing my experience was!! Getting a divorce lawyer is scary. Most of us have friends or family members that have, unfortunately, been through a divorce. I had heard the horror stories of how much they cost, how impersonal they can be, how they "nickel and dime" you, take days to respond and cost a fortune. Let me tell you- DeWitt (and especially my paralegal, Darlene K.) blew me away throughout the entire process! When I realized I was being divorced, and had to lawyer up- I researched divorce lawyers for an entire day- DeWitt was one my friend referenced. I spoke with two other lawyers before I called DeWitt; after one phone call- my decision felt so simple. My divorce was a long one (due to the opposition) and it went through a pandemic. But my team at Dewitt, answered every email, returned or PICKED UP every single phone call, even after 5pm and on weekends, they truly went above and beyond on multiple occasions. (I'm actually tearing up writing this, just thinking back on my experience, and what they did for me, I'm so grateful!) They explained everything to me throughout the process and listened to my input. I felt like I was part of my team. In the end- They got me the exact results I was praying for! When it was time to pay my bill, after all I put them through- I was absolutely SHOCKED at how low it was for the service I received! Most people are so moved by a bad experience, they write a review. I was so moved by my amazing experience, I felt compelled to share it. If you read reviews to make your decision, I hope you choose DeWitt. Special thank you to Darlene and Moe for putting up with me, my calls, emails and amateur questions. I hope none of my friends or family have to go through what I did, but if they reach out to me for advice- I will beg them to just call DeWitt, you'll see why. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
