  Absolutely terrible to work with and I regret ever going with them. This process has been nothing but a nightmare and even after the closing on the house it has not gotten any better. Denise M Zakeri is a branch manager and our loan originator. Getting ahold of her was impossible for both us, as the client, as well as for my realtor. Closing was pushed back at the last minute due to DHI not having the paperwork together on time and they tried to blame us, saying that we did not have insurance information to them on time. We had to have the roof completely replaced and the day it was finished we got them the insurance information. Now, after closing, I have had to go out of my way to get more documents signed and notarized that they neglected to have at closing. I was told that we would receive 1st time home buyers assistance, when in reality, this assistance is just a second loan I now have to pay off, with interest. I just tried to make my first (2) payments. I made them over the phone and one went through while the other never did. Upon calling back, I was told that the lady on my phone entered my account number wrong on one of the loans, even though when she read it back to me, it was correct. I’m so ready for my loans to be sold to be done dealing with this joke of a company. Edit: after I posted this review, today, a Wednesday now TWO MONTHS after we closed, I was contacted by Denise that they got something else wrong and would be emailed long the documents for me to sign and she said she needs the original returned by Friday….less than 2 days! Just like every other mistake they have made, I’m given a strict time limit…I am beyond disgusted.

  Not a place to do business if you want things done efficiently. They rarely answer emails, push your appointments to other days forcing you to take unwanted time off work. Was suppose to close one day and they don’t tell you anything until that day after they’ve already extended you closing date. I’d certainly go with another builder these people have no clue what they are doing.
