      Over an Assumption, thinking that my PREGNANT wife would leave her job because she has a new work from home job that makes a dollar less than me and is full time with health insurance, they assumed she would leave her job. She has been working there for about 6 months now and we were buying this house together and they said no on our last week. The day we were supposed to do our final walk through. THEY TOLD US WE WERE GOLDEN!!! That we should put our two month notice in for our apartment which WE DID! So they heartlessly let us now become homeless with no warning. We are now pretty positive that they didn’t work with us because the underwriter saw our age and drop us. We had the money, the credit score, and both had stable jobs making well over the necessary income. This was a form of ageism at its finest. Our ages are 21 and 23. I will always inform people not to work with DHI because they will build you up and at the every last second drop you like it’s nothing.
