It's been months since our closing, but I haven't been able to get this off my mind. I took time to think about whether it was worth writing a review, however after reading similar reviews, it should be said. I don't know Ms. Winter (Branch Manager) personally, though I wish I could understand why she was so hostile during a simple real estate closing. The friendliness she received from all parties present made her demeanor very confusing. It was a simple transaction and buyer and seller walked away very agreeable and pleased, even joyfully conversing in the parking lot. Her brisk and coarse tone and clear anger made us think she was having a really bad day and was moments from spitting on the table. The paperwork and transaction itself was fine and rapidly processed. I'd like an explanation as this was the most unpleasant experience I've ever had in title. For all my clients, this moment has been a happy day. I've closed on dozens of homes and not only would I never use the Mankato North American Title office again, if faced with the opposite party dealing with this office, I'd try my darnedest to ensure another choice was made.
