  After the treatment I’ve received after trying to deposit a check under 5000 I will no longer bank with eco. Sadly, I’ve been a customer over 10yrs and this location does not value their customers. The manager Ana verified our check and said it would be released only to notice our check was never released. I called and spoke with her and she’s telling me the hold will remain because she will not be held responsible if something happen to this check. I have no history of return checks and have a great track record and have gave them plenty of business. I always had a great experience in hoover with jennifer who no longer work for this company. It saddens me that after 10yrs of being a loyal customer they still don’t value my business. I work in banking and familiar with regulations. These people want to put our check on a 5 day hold when it should have no hold or a 2 business day hold of anything. This hold is at their discretion which is very unacceptable being that my history should speak for me. We are in a pandemic with bills and all they can do is say I’m sorry. We are trying to deposit funds in our account for bills we have to pay instead we are told our money will be on hold so they can try to collect fees. This process has been a nightmare. However soon as this check clears I will be taking my business else where. I do not recommend this institution the people who cared left a long time ago now they just have non empathetic robots as employees.Their practices are so old and outdated I should have been departed but this takes the cake. Again I do not recommend and will be shopping around for a new banking institution.
