      I would NOT recommend Edelman Financial Engines! When I initially met with my advisor, he had all the repugnant qualities and stench of a used car salesman. Just a lot of lip service! Against my better judgement, I decided to give him a try anyway. He and I had a couple of initial video chats and worked out a plan (backdoor Roth contribution strategy). However, once we filled out the paperwork to transfer/rollover my funds from my other bank and retirement accounts, it became increasingly more difficult to get in touch with him in order to execute on the plan. After several months with no movement and nothing getting done according to our initial plan, I came to the realization that he was indeed like a used car salesman who had no interest in actually servicing my accounts. Once I requested the accounts be closed so that I could go with another firm, I never received any acknowledgement, reply, call, email or any correspondence of any kind asking me why or offer to help with the transfer. Anyway, I am happy I decided to go with Edward Jones instead. Again, I would NOT recommend Edelman Financial Engines.
