  Very professional business and warm and inviting. I appreciate Sonya taking out time to educate me on the Tax laws. Also helping me understand the Child Tax Credit and Stimulus payments repay. So many people don't read or understand that there is a repay due on the tax credit and was anger about it. However Sonya explained it would be taken from your refund so I was aware of the changes if any. I love EPS Community givebacks and helping with financial knowledge. The questionnaire was was clear and understandable I like that her paperwork was in order. Sonya has so many programs and services to offer. Sonya has been a community help and blessing to the families in the 5thward and surrounding Houston Area. I am glad I do business with Elite Professional Services. I am looking forward to more services.

  I contacted Sonya for a quote electronically. I’ll take responsibility for my part I was under the impression I was communicating with the individual who prepared my taxes for the previous year . I even started the conversation by asking if she could send me my previous return because I never received it via email. Sonya was very aware she did not know me yet she still entertained the idea to gain my business. Be aware of the questionnaire required before filing. There is a question that asks if you’ve received a stimulus and the amount which is very misleading. There is a space to enter a rebate credit for individuals who did not get a 3rd economic stimulus to file it on their current taxes to get it this year . I answered yes to receiving a stimulus. Sonya entered a rebate amount as if I didn’t get a stimulus with a random number that did not even make since for a taxpayer with 3 dependents . I asked for an estimate before filing I was quoted a little over $7k and when I inquired about the amount she confirmed it was lower than the previous year because of the child tax credit. Which again is untrue. My returned was filed the first week of filing Jan 24 2022. My file sat in the errors department delayed beyond the 21 days . I then received a message from the irs that stated I claimed a rebate credit that I wasn’t owed and my return went from 7k to 3k. A $700 fee of that 3k was taken out as well. It is my belief that Sonya was aware this would happen but again doctored my file to seem like I was getting a favorable amount to again gain my business. I also asked for a copy of my current and previous year return . She didn’t send the previous year because obviously I was never her client last year . She sent this years return on a link via email that expires after a few hours. If you’re looking for a preparer with integrity that you can trust seek other options.

  If you want to go to someone with so much knowledge EPS is the right place. The owner is educated and is able to answer all your question. I’m so glad I choose her! See you next year!!!!
