  Scott was available almost any day in order to help us answer questions and whatnot. His loan processor, Kelcie, did great as well. Sometimes you got to contact them from your end to follow up on your mortgage process since they’re busy. I’d recommend to the people applying for a mortgage to be quick and responsive for them. Both of them are great at what they do! Here are tips to people applying for a mortgage: Make sure that if you’re a person applying for a mortgage to prepare the correct pdf formats of W-2 tax forms, bank statements for the last couple of months that contain a proper URL and the bank names, gift letters of any money you receive as a gift and don't have to pay back, evidence of transaction history where the gift money came from and the account it went into that contain the URL and bank name, keep enough money in your bank accounts to fulfill your downpayment and other expenses such as the inspections, make sure to prove that you have enough money in your bank account even after making your downpayment, provide proof of employment contact info (I’d recommend to inform your boss at your job(s)), pay your bills on time, don’t open new accounts that would get require credit checks such as credit cards, and so forth. Also, don’t charge too much on your cards unless you're in dire need to do so. Be sure to not get charged for overdraft fees, don’t quit your job and don't start a new job, and prepare to present them with your two year history of employment. Prepare the documents ahead of time to help speed up the process and make it easier and more efficient for everyone. They will inform you if they need any other documents to upload to your profile, so ask before you upload them or you may open another big can of worms. Always be extra vigilant during the underwriting process and pay your bills on time. Everything worked out in the end so we’re extremely grateful for their help!
