  My experience refinancing with Epic Mortgage was great! Everyone there is extremely professional, nice and provided comfort and assurance throughout the process. I really appreciate the communication and availability as responses to email's and phone calls are always done in a timely and professional manner.   I began consultation for a mortgage with Dante and Epic Mortgage based on a referral. They pulled my credit resulting in a hard inquiry and quoted me an interest rate after I'd submitted all of my documentation for the loan. I then was told they ultimately had decided not to take on my case due to an increased workload over the weekend, and did not want to jeopardize closing on time and put me in a bad situation considering my "type A and detail oriented personality" as Dante mentioned. I did consider it unprofessional that my credit was pulled before they shared this information. I regretted as well that the resulting delay cost me half a percentage point with another lender. However, I did appreciate their honesty in not taking me on if they felt they couldn't close on time.

  Hi Jolisa. I'm really sorry this happened the way it did. Speaking to you and getting your documents at the end of the week (along with the complexity) didn't give us enough review time to see where we were until Monday. If this had been a pre-approval situation rather than a contracted timeline situation, our outcome would have been much more favorable. We really do strive to assist with all our clients' needs, but for the rare few we are not able to help, we let them know as soon as we know. We are very happy you were able to find another lender to accommodate your needs and make your closing date. Best of luck to you.
