Do your best to keep your ducks in a row so you never have to use a place like this. I tend to let mine roam around and worry about them later which can put me in a tough spot. I was at one of these spots and they were advertising a cash advance if you filed your taxes with them. Although skeptical I decided to check it out and sat down with the lady working there and answered all of her questions. After what ended up being much wasted time, maybe an just over an hour, I was told if I filed with them I would owe them around $800. I immediately knew that wasn't right so thankfully I still had the option to not file with them and do my taxes myself like I normally and usually do anyways. I did my own taxes later that day and recieved my usual few thousand. Maybe they weren't intentionally trying to scam me but only didn't know what they were doing but either way I can't trust them and will never go there again. I should have never gone there in the first place. Keep track of your ducks folks ✌️. I'm surpassing my dislike of them and giving them 3 stars instead of 1 because they have helped me out a few times in a time of need and received a check after operational bank hours.
