  I just wanted to say how impressed I was by the attitude and service that I received from Jade. She greeted me as soon as I entered the bank. She didn't sound fake and covertly hostile like the usual greeter at the Broadview location but genuinely kind and friendly. She was professional and warm. I was truly impressed. The other two employees behind the counter were also all smiles. It was a refreshing change from the miserable attitudes of the employees at Broadview, except for the guy with the ponytail. He's always nice too. Thanks Jade, you rock!

  if I had the option to rate them as zero Stars, I would! I have been a Fith Third customer for years, I originally opened the checking account with them because they were an Ohio Bank that offered "free" checking. My computer and smart phone got hacked a couple of months ago. I have never had that happen before. I received a threatening email from the hacker who shared my private information that they had gotten from my logging on and emails. The woman who "helped"me in fact was not very helpful at all. In fact from coworkers on the customer service line I found out that she had lied to me when she insisted that in order to reopen a fifth third checking account I would need to also open a savings account and a 360 card account. After the funds were transferred to the new checking account she did not delete my old Bill pay items so numerous Bill payer checks were automatically sent out and came back bouncing the original account numerous times. I also found out the bank had converted my "free" checking to a service charge account several years ago in error. And indeed, I had paid a service charge for several years which was not necessary After addressing the manner in which she had handled "close to open new account" matter, she denied it and the automatic bill payer payments she told me it was my job to delete them (even though she had blocked access to the account), she then toild me I had to call everyone who was mailed a check (some were sent to Bank lock boxes) and tell them not to deposit the checks, while folks on the customer service line confirmed that is exactly what she had done and she should have never handled it the way she did. I have also had numerous other customer service issues with fifth third in the past and I was already in process of opening any new accounts at US Bank where I have been treated very well and with dignity and respect when my computer and smartphone were hacked. The only reason why I opened a new account there at fifth third is because that is where my checks are deposited. I plan on closing all accounts with fifth third once Corona is over with. In the meantime I found out why many fifth third branches are closing, because they got in trouble with the federal government for doing similar things to other people. If this is the way I continue to be treated, it is so long fifth third!

  As someone who just moved here from michigan, they were the easiest to set up an account with and the people were super nice like dang.
