  **Mark calveruso switched my loan from a VA loan to a conventional loan for personal profit and never notified me of the change.** he lied and acted like it was still a VA loan and told us we had to do the following in order to meet VA requirements.. " I was assigned Mark Calveruso as my loan officer for the purchase of my second home. Dealing with Mark Calveruso has been one of the worst experiences of my professional career,. He ignored communications from myself, the selling parties listing agent, and my insurance agent. He forged financial information on my loan after refusing my financial documentation from my construction company, which caused the loan to be denied, he forced my insurance agent to back date forms and missed deadlines on closing documents. Every “solution” he gave did nothing but distance us from closing. He refused to input vehicle ownership information despite me trying to force him to several times and then used it as a reason to deny the loan. After selling my vehicle and meeting all other requirements as well as doing everything mark instructed as he instructed, he then said we would need an unreasonable amount of money down to close the loan," the reason all of this happened is because mark as well as his Howard Hannah partners were taking advantage of the current housing market and trying to make more money for themselves. i would not recommend working with first equity mortgage or the Howard Hannah office out of canfield.

  This was my first time buying a house and dealing with mortgages Mark Calvaruso did an amazing job getting me approved when the banks couldn't and a lower interest rate than what I was quoted with other banks. Most paperwork and documents could be signed and transferred right from my phone and he answered all the questions I had. Would definitely recommend to everyone!
