      This is the worst company to ever do any business with I would never do business with them again or refer anyone to them they are always rude and never willing to help me as a customer. I think this Company is owned by a racist and let’s the agents who answer the phone go back & forth with a customer. I just called them at 5:03 pm Eastern time and their line is telling me that they’re closed so I can’t even get through. But they say they close at 6:00 I have been in customer service all my life and have never been able to talk to customers the way they do.

      My car was totaled out back in November 2021. My insurance company sent out a settlement check to go towards the loan. The check was received around December 13th at which time I asked a rep if the gap coverage will pay off the remaining balance. The rep informed me that a claim would be filed. Called today, December 28th, to check the claim status, was giving the number to contact that company who provides the gap coverage. Spoke with a rep there, come to find out, First Investor never filed the gap claim like they said. Of course I’m responsible for the loan regardless but if there’s gap coverage that I qualify for then it should be applied and not me paying out of pocket when I don’t have to. First Investor needs to stop misleading their customers!
