      My wife is a customer, but I was "under the weather" and personally needed an emergency favor. I called this branch on the phone, fully expecting to be told my request could not be fulfilled, as I needed to have collected funds physically deposited to my account across town immediately. I had been told by two other banks in Indiana it could not be done electronically. When I asked for an officer of the bank and got Rich (?) on the line, he offered to not only retrieve the funds I needed from My wife's account (with her permission), but then he offered, without me even asking, to personally, physically deliver the funds to my business bank across town, saving me having to leave my home. I have been in business for over 50 years, but cannot ever remember an Indiana bank ever going to bat for me in an emergency like that. Needless to say, I'm planning on moving some accounts here.       First Merchants Bank is a wonderful local bank that provides the services of a large bank. I feel valued as a customer and the quality of service is phenomenal at the Olio branch. I still use this bank even though I now live out of state.

      Steer clear of this bank. Overpromised and underdelivered to the max. It's a shame you have to give them one star.
