  In 2017. I stopped by a location with my daughter to just take a peek, and the salesperson let’s just say wasn’t the the person I would have chosen to work with anyways. I wasn't ready to purchase; I just wanted to see what Arbor had to offer. I completed a visit card not knowing that 5 years later, when I decided to build, I would be stuck with the salesperson that showed no interest or followed up since then. Apparently, they have something in place where you have to work with the person you spoke to initially regardless of the time frame you spoke with them. I refused to work with someone on such a big investment that I feel doesn't share my goal or energy. I have tried to get upper management to approve us to work with the sales rep of our choice, who shares our vision, but it saddens me to say they would not. So we've decided to build elsewhere, which may seem extreme to some, but customer service is everything to us. Thank God for options. So be aware that if you drop by and complete that visit card or even if you give your information, that is the person you desire to work with whenever you're ready.
