  We bought our first home together with a loan from OJ Vallejo at First Priority about ten years ago. OJ Worked out a pretty creative loan that helped us qualify even though we probably shouldn't have. (That's on us, not him, by the way.) The way he structured it seemed to make sense to us at the time. The red flag should have been when we showed up to sign for our loan and it was not what we had discussed. At all. In fact, we had to go back and show him the notes THAT HE HAD WRITTEN OUT FOR US in order to remind him how we had agreed to structure our loan. That should have been a red flag. Like a lot of people, we ended up foreclosing on our home a few years later when things went in the tank. That's not OJ's fault either, but it was really clear at the time that a lot of folks in the industry saw it coming a mile away and chose to hang on and enjoy the ride rather than represent their clients in a realistic and cautious way. You might call that unethical, or you might call it a good business sense. What became more clear as the big picture developed was that we were a paycheck for OJ. Not customers, but a paycheck. Truthfully, we're over it. We have been for a long time. The reason that I'm writing this review is that to this day, we still get presorted mailings from First Priority Financial and every time we return it to sender with a note saying "Please remove us from your mailing list." Apparently it's being ignored. Not only did we get absolutely garbage service from OJ Vallejo at First Priority Financial, but they are apparently really into wasting paper too, perhaps in the name of padding their fake distribution numbers. Regardless, we asked nicely. Several times.
