      I have been a First Republic Bank customer for over 20 years. They have outstanding service and respect for customers. If you go to the branch, you will immediately see this is not your typical bank. Rarely a line, comfortable environment, and quick service. I just did a refinancing with them and the responsiveness and efficiency was so much better than mortgage brokers (tried them) or megabanks (tried them too). Give them a look and see for yourself.

      Would give them negative stars if I could. Very inflexible, unfriendly and condescending staff, at least during the weekend at this branch. I had a very bad experience with using their CD products, and their assistant manager kept berating me for not understanding their terms, when I had been given wrong information by a different person. Would suggest using a different branch, or just avoid this bank altogether.
