      I have banked at First Western like for over 40 years, while I worked and lived in Minot. Auto, cattle, and other loans. Retired moved to Texas for a few years, keep my bank in ND. Moved to Bismarck and I find a branch bank here. Very happy, good service, friendly helpful staff.

      I've banked here for over a year now and honestly they are the best bank I've found in the Bis/Man area. I've banked with U.S Bank (not good) I've banked with Wells fargo(Banking is bad, but Customer service is good) but first western is the first bank I've found with both!

      DO NOT Bank here!!!! First of all I'm a server/bartender and my paychecks are nothing special amd this bank told me to go cash my check at walmart because my account wasnt 30 days old.. What kind of bank tells there customer to go bring their paycheck to walmart?? And then I'm renting a car right now and so since i have mostly cash it requires me to put my cash in the bank to pay for the rental.. First western CLOSED my account .. Giving me no phone call or warning just closed it "due to money going in and out excessively" .. It wasnt even a couple thousand dollars in 3 weeks... And Eric Mueller didnt want to answer any of my questions and when I reminded him my account has never been negative or bounced he just told me he had nothing to comment my account was closed and they have the right to refuse service to me.. BTW my new bank rocks!
