I have left many compliments with different branches and locations for First Bank as we got several accounts of them and normally they have got the best customer service. However I did have a very terrible experience yesterday with whoever I was interacting with that led to my first official complaint. As I don’t really see complaints as necessary however having a business account I felt the manner of the request and how it was addressed from the individual for First Bank handled it in a very disrespect way. Today the branch manager Melanie called and followed up on the complaint, I felt very heard, I felt my complaint was taken seriously and more importantly be used as a training for customer Service especially business to business customer service. Melanie you did a great job I thank you very much!! I am obviously going to stick with you as I have had 1000 more a great experiences than this one Terrible one yesterday. I have to agree with the one star reviews. I came inside to avoid the long car wait to make a deposit. Both customer service reps I spoke with were disinterested in helping me beyond making the deposit. I also noticed the mask mandate is not enforced, the pens are not sanitized between users, and there is not hand sanitizer in the lobby. Won't be back.

this place is a joke. time and time again one teller has gaslit my elderly grandmother into not being able to control her own account. she wasn’t allowed to have online banking anymore and they even tried to convince her that her care taker had been taking money from her even though there was proof that she was the one taking the money out of her own account. she’s finally moved banks and will NEVER be back to this one. it was ridiculous.
