They have always been helpful when I've gone in and very friendly. I do agree that the updates on printing out an account for 2 weeks & monthly statements are a lot harder to understand than they were before changing to this new system but I've almost always have had good service. Only once did I have a problem & it was with a new teller. I gave her a hundred dollar bill for change & asked for 2 rolls of quarters to be included with the change & she kept trying to give me just the 2 rolls of quarters for about 15 minutes. I kept telling her she needed to give me $80.00 more & she kept telling me that she gave me 2 rolls of quarters. Then I'd say but I gave you a $100.00 so $20 plus $80 would equal a $100. 15 minutes later I got the rest of my $100. That was the only time I ever had a problem. & I've done my banking there for years.

Communication and customer service deficit. I sent an email with questions related to first time mortgage twice over a month span with no response. I then called and spoke with someone who was going to have the mortgage specialist call me the same day. No call. I then called 1 week later and left a direct voicemail with Matt & Elmer with no call back and its been nearly a month. It is very clear they are not in the business of customer communication.

This Credit Union practices entrapment. When you use your online banking, your balance is not your “available balance” so it may look like you have maybe hundred and fifty dollars, so you go and buy groceries, and gas, maybe stop in and grab a soda, thinking you’re in the clear, and bam! Suddenly you have $75 in overdraft fees. The thing about this is that the Credit Union can see your pending transactions on their computers in the bank, but YOU don’t have access to that data. So YOU never actually know how much is in your bank account unless you keep your own written record. These people are NOT your friends Granite City!
