  Let me tell you a tale of the mortgage hero, Louis Baca, and the case of the disputed property line. My 84 yr old grandmother was trying to sell her home in an East Texas small town, but when they came to do her survey they noticed that the ancient property lines were off between her house and both adjoining properties. We spent 5 years battling in court and dealing with shady lawyers and even shadier neighbors. We finally got the property line adjusted in court and found a buyer, but the court order stipulated we wait an additional period of time due to possibility of countersuit from heirs of a man who never lived at the property, but somehow was still on the deed for a tiny sliver of a back corner. Because of this, the title company wouldn’t insure, and the bank wouldn’t lend. I had met Louis at my kid’s school, so I thought, let’s see what he can do. Louis happily took the case, worked diligently on it for over a year, found a title company that would insure even with the court order issue, helped the buyers secure financing (which was not an easy task), and even helped set up closing. After 6 years of hell with this house, my grandmother finally closed on Friday at her kitchen table. Y’all...it was a $75,000 transaction. I’m not sure how commission works at this company, but I’m certain commission on this deal was nowhere near as valuable as the amount of time Louis spent working on a solution. He didn’t do any of this for praise or money, he did it because he truly wanted to help. Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching, and Louis Baca did just that. My family is forever grateful for him.

  Louis was the best to get us through the closing of our home. The communication throughout our process was excellent. He made the process less stressful keeping us up to date on what was happening on their end throughout our closing. We highly recommend Geneva Financial.
