  We are very sorry that you had a bad experience and are grateful that you brought up a good point: appointments and waiting time. As we’ve explained and have documented in signs in our office as well as the intake form the client completes, there will be peak times like yesterday and the next 18 or so days leading to the tax due date of April 18. While we are all still in COVID and a new variant is lurking, we accept appointments, like the medical field, to allow us to know a client will be coming in and for the client to know he will be served. This appointment does not guarantee you will be seen immediately as most clients choose to complete the intake and hand over documents after their appointment time. Those that walk in do not have this confirmation and usually may drop off documents and come back for an appointment. At all times we have communicated and posted that no one needs to stay for hours, like we all do at the ER, because they can go out enjoy lunch or another activity and won’t lose their place. We also provide contactless preparation should the client not want to visit in person; they can use our Secure File Exchange at www.gladyswilsonassoc.com. While we value highly each of our more than 16,000 clients that includes clients that fly in from other states, we have to have the information loaded after the client provides it and the CPA cannot sacrifice quality to rush and meet the frustrations of those that elect to wait.   Awful experience. I went for help, not that she didn’t help me but she overcharged and I’m still fixing her mistakes (for almost two years now) and overpaying. Will never recommend. I went through so much because she obviously doesn’t know what she is doing and just overcharging people. Awful, just awful. I will give zero stars if that was an option.

Our pricing is clearly posted before services are rendered because we know, that although our fees are much lower than other CPAs with PhDs and a JD, there will be a few persons that would like to set the rates for professionals like doctors, attorneys, and CPAs. We are saddened you didn’t speak to us in person but we wish you the best.
