  This is the worse financial company ever. Our vehicle was totaled on 1/26/18. I had to call weekly to get the gap forms completed. Finally on 3/3/18 Dorian Clark completed the form and sent me a copy. Then on I 4/5 they cashed the check from the gap insurance. All this time I had to keep making my payment. So not knowing they had received the check, I called gap insurance. I was told on 4/10 that they cashed the check. I called GM Financial back to cancel the payment scheduled to cone out on 4/15. I was told it would take 10 days. I then called my bank and put stop payment on it. Now it is July 8th and they have my money and they still haven't returned the overpayment. On 5/14 they issued a check for $574.00, but they stopped paymenyon it. Then I get a call that they will reissue the check for $890.00 and it will go out on 6/15. Well now it is 7/8 and I still don't have the check. Not only don't I have the check they actually owe me $990.10. They are trying to say gap didn't pay the right amount. Gap paid based on the form that Ms. Clark completed. When I call and ask for a supervisor I get another incompetent person. Nobody at this Company says the same thing twice. This company is known best for the lies, dragging of feet and telling people what they think you want to hear. All I ever wanted is the truth. The best part is if they don't like what you say or prove them wrong, they put you on perpetual hold or hang up on you. I have been in perpetual hold for up to an hour, while calling back on another line. I have been hung up on at least 50 times. Now I am reporting you to the Better Business Burea and the Attorney General. I am done with your lies. If you are doing this to us, you are doing it to other peopke. Just send me my overpayment and close my account now. If we don't pay our bill you charge interest. I want what is due me. You should have to pay interest as well, but in your thifery I won't get it. Proof is that I still don't have the money that is due me. I only get exvuses. JUST SEND ME MY MONEY!!!

  GM Financial shouldn't even get a one star!!!! This is the worst financial company I have ever worked with.....I paid off my loan with GM Financial and was in the process of purchasing another car. The sales person called GM Financial to get a pay off letter while I was waiting to buy a new car the representative at GM Financial said it would be faxed over right away after 2 hours of waiting I called back and again was told it would be sent over after waiting again for about 30 minutes I called back again and this time I was told it would take up to 24 hours to receive the letter. The next day rolls around, I call GM Financial about the pay off letter and now I'm told it will take 48 to 72 hours before I receive the letter. Now by this time I already lost the truck I wanted to buy because GM Financial would not send the letter over. I asked to speak to a manager I explain my situation to her about how I really need the letter before the dealership could move forward with the sale of the car and that idiot proceeds to tell me that it will be 30 days before I receive the letter because GM Financial is afraid that I am going to dispute the final pay off ......ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! If I wanted to dispute the final pay off I can do it at anytime!!!! Finally after calling back 3 days later to check on the status of the letter I was told the letter had been faxed over....We are talking 6 days to get a pay off letter!!!! I will never ever deal with GM Financial again and on top of that the dealership that sold me my car as well as the dealership across the street from them has removed them from there list of financing companies.
