  I started banking with Golden 1 Credit Union in 1987. They have been wonderful working with. My checks have been automatically deposited from employment smoothly through retirement. Bakersfield branch has had several managers during this time, however, any problem or situation I have brought to their attention has always been mutually satisfied. I would just like to applaud the group in their now. Most tellers recognize me when I walk in. I am acquainted with the manager and it is an exceptional bunch of wonderful people who are working in the Bakersfield office. I am certain many will agree.

  I have been with this credit union for more than ten years and it appears that the staff changes every month. There’s a lot of new employees that don’t know a pencil from a pen. Gabby the previous Manager was always nice, personable, and knew what she was doing. I’m not sure what’s going on with this place, but it’s going down hill in Bakersfield.

  It’s been a month now and I still have not gotten a reply back on my auto refinance application after the lady there had already ran my credit! Save yourself the hassle find another credit union this one seems to be unprofessional. *UPDATE* I can’t reply to company under this comment. For those reading this I had already emailed them back and till this day still no reply back ! I went somewhere else I’m not wasting my time on a credit union who doesn’t care about it’s customers. I highly recommend Safe1
