  Must disagree with any reviewer who gave Gorham Savings Bank and specifically the Marginal Way branch anything LESS than 5 stars! My entire family banks with them: me, my son and his wife who live in Baltimore, my mother who is elderly and lives in a retirement and , my brother who recently passed away and lived half the year out of the country...my family members all have/had separate challenges (my son is blind, my mother has beginning dementia, my brother died out of the country and left a family there - absolute NIGHTMARE to get money easily to them) and each and every GSB employee I have had to deal with have shown exemplary compassion, understanding and professionalism...if I was able to give them 10 stars, I would. I will NEVER bank anywhere else!

  I've been a member of Gorham Savings Bank for 17 years and they used to have superior customer service, but unfortunately the level of service has dropped drastically over the last year or so. Sadly they have shifted their values to reflect themselves more and more like a big national bank and less of a local, neighborhood bank simply because of the lack of attention to detail and loyalty standing to their faithful customers.

  Best people and yet the worst online user experience I've ever had. All of the employees are lovely but the web setup makes it difficult to navigate to simplest tasks without calling a person. I choose to stay with them because I'd rather deal with that then an overgrown institution that takes advantage of people. But I sincerely hope they hire somebody who knows more about user experience than whoever designed their site.
