  So far Greenstate Credit Union has been great. After opening an account with them they went above and beyond what I would expect out of a bank. I advise that you get in touch with Parker Lange. Parker made the process of switching accounts enjoyable and even helped me save money in the long run.

  Wanted to join a credit union because Wells Fargo is garbage, and I want the profit from my deposits to primarily help me. Was looking at Green State and asked the branch manager if I could roll over my IRA with them. He took one look at my returns and told me not to, since the Green State IRA isn't market based and won't have as high returns in the long run. Someone recommending that I not use a their product in a certain situation shows me that they value the wellbeing of their members over profits, unlike the place I'm leaving. Great first interaction with them, and I don't regret leaving WF.
