  They consistently told us different things depending on who we spoke with. Nick Mink said that we would definitely settle by the original closing date in our contract. It kept getting pushed back. They would claim that they never received documents that we had already sent them. One time I sent over documents and for a week tried emailing and calling different people to confirm receipt. After a week, someone finally answered and said they never received them, which I knew was a lie. The email sent just fine to everyone else CC’d on it. They were an absolute nightmare to work with. My biggest fear with choosing a mortgage company came true in the form of unbearable stress and anxiety. Nick actually tried to blame us for the delay when they lied about not receiving our documents. It wasn’t the first time we sent documents and no one even realized for days. I would never recommend Nick Mink to anyone. It took two and a half months to close on our house. I actually felt really bad for the sellers. We had zero issues with getting our documents in on time. Our credit is excellent, we stayed on top of everything during the whole process, and we had no problem qualifying for a mortgage. Our only problem was Nick and his team.
