  Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. Though I appreciated working with my specific loan officer, Tracey, who was quick to get me my pre-approval letter and help me select the best mortgage product for my needs, the rest of the process was difficult and delayed. They missed my closing date twice, first because they didn't initially ask for documentation I could have easily provided ahead of time and second because they simply did not send me my closing disclosure in a timely manner for no reason. After the second missed closing date, a manager from Guild inappropriately contacted the agent for the sellers of the home I was purchasing stating that our closing date needed to be moved without providing any context or going though my own agent to secure an addendum to our contract. In addition, they asked me for the same documentation several times because they could not clarify what they specifically needed. Lastly my move was almost delayed several days because despite closing early in the morning, my loan didn't fund to the title company until almost 4pm and they could offer no explanation why. What should have been an exciting process of purchasing my first home turned into something very stressful and frustrating. I won't be using Guild in the future.
