      Would not recommend at all. My boyfriend reached out to Derek to get a meeting set up and from the beginning it was hard to get in contact with him. My boyfriend would call and email with preliminary questions and never got an answer. A last minute meeting got set up and I got to the meeting after my boyfriend (as I had an hour drive) and Derek didn't even take the time to introduce himself to me, which I found to be unprofessional. Our meeting was fine but he doesn't take the time to actually explain things in a way a first-time home buyer would understand and the meeting felt rushed. He told us he would work some numbers and would be sending us some informative videos... it's been over a week and we still haven't heard from him. Not a single email or call. We will no longer be working with Guild Mortgage. We will now be starting our process over with a different company who values communication with clients.
