      I was applying for A refinance on my home. I was working with harford bank employee Branscome. Was told appraisal may be up to 750 but would only have to pay actual cost. Was concerned because a normal appraisal is only 200. He promised it wasn't accurate then I could contest it and have it reviewed. He had appraisal done... came in about 170k to low Because appraisal compared to non similar houses. When I told branscome he told me it was good and that nothing I could do. Also charged me $750 when appraiser only charged 400. This is not something I would like to have happen to me. Comparing my brick rancher to trailers is not an accurate comparison. Wasted my time and money. Hope this helps someone else.
