  Worst experience ever. We had to close in 14 days, and was stressing out, yet we were assured that a 14 day close would be no issues at all. We sold our house, and my family and I were about to be homeless because the no problem 14 day close got pushed back. I understand it doesnt always go as planned, but the debacle that was about to unfold caused so much stress, that my wife and i were looking at lawyers to sue homefront lending. Thankfully, our sellers allowed us to rent for about a week and we had a place to move into. The following week came and went, with no time frame in sight of closing. The following week came, and an appraiser showed up mid week. We were under the assumption the appraisal had been done 2 weeks ago at this point. Another week came and went with mediocre answers as to a closing (mind you, we are still renting for $1000 a week). Our sellers had lost patience at this point, as we had, and the dipsh!t underwriter that had been assigned to our account was asking some of the most unrelated questions that we needed to provide proof of such as "my wife needed verification from her employer that she works from home, because her job was an hour away". Also, spent a whole morning trying to read a bank statement to which she ended up calling my wife and having to be walked through it. It took SO LONG to get a closing date, that our sellers had sent message that if we didn't close in the next 2 days, we were going to have to pack up and get out and find another house. I had to threaten my realtor to pass a message that if we didn't close on the next business day, then we were going to seek counsel. They had every document they needed, received it promptly, we have solid credit, and also had 6 figures to put down on the house and it took over 5 weeks to close. We will NEVER use this company again, and have already told everyone we know not to use them. THE MOST DISORGANIZED CLUSTERF@*K I've been involved with. They were supposed to knock a discount for the troubles but still paid full price for financial fees and underwriting. Save yourself the trouble!!!
