  BUYER BEWARE!! I am an experienced home buyer (third purchase in 4 years), so I know how these things are supposed to go, and this was not it. Communication is absolutely atrocious. Closing changed 6 times because of lack of communication of what was needed and the blame was always shifted. I was texted HALF AN HOUR before one of these closings requesting to bring a cashier’s check for THOUSANDS of dollars, and this was the first time I’d heard about needing to bring a check in the 45+ days of working with them. If you must work with them, request to work with Katie, only. She is much more pleasant to talk to. After I gave Louie my feedback on their extreme lack of communication, he became very snippy and extremely spiteful. For example, claiming I had paid off debts without telling them, then in the same breath claiming I hadn’t paid off the debts and that’s why we hadn’t closed (despite me sending documentation 6 weeks prior showing I had paid them off). Going from calling me a great borrower who passed "with flying colors" to a bad borrower. If you get on Louie’s wrong side, he will turn on you and be an absolute nightmare to work with for everyone involved. They may reply that I signed this, I did this and that, but the fact of the matter is that a lot of the issues that were “my fault” (debatable) could have easily been avoided with better communication from them. There is so much more I could go into, but for the sake of length, this is as straightforward as I can make it. This is not a lender you want to trust when purchasing your home – take it from a seasoned home buyer. Edited to add: Two days after closing, I received an email from Louie requesting I complete a brief survey through their third party survey website. 24 hours later when I tried to complete the survey, it said it had "expired". Convenient. I replied to Louie requesting another current link be sent - I have yet to hear back, a week later. It is clear they did this on purpose so that their ratings on that website are not affected. They do not actually want feedback. Again - BUYER BEWARE.
