  Mr. Maurice Brown, one of the associates for Horizon Bank, was very supportive and concerned about the issues my wife and I faced. He spoke to a representative, via telephone, directly, resolving said issues. Mr. Brown is outgoing and professional! God bless!

  Still I Rise

  Non interest bearing junior checking accounts. The branch manager speaks to customers condescending as if he's doing your child a favor by holding your money that doesn't yield dividends or interest at their institutuon. Seems as though they have a certain view of people from this area and if you don't fit that mold they don't know how to deal with you. Better off at one of the local credit unions for sure.

  For the City of Gary residence if you're applying for a home improvement Grant please make sure that the employees give you the correct income guidelines so you don't have to waste your time gathering all the information like I did. I brought all of my information in to find out that I was above the income guidelines.
