      Ok I must stay the process is very long and tedious and it is not for people who needs apartment ASAP. I have been lucky to have my Number called. I received call for the White plains, the chappaqua and the Harrison location for white plains the rent was too much and for the Harrison which o loved was way too small. I’m now at the top of the New Rochelle listed just waiting for notification from them. Please understand they always mail out your lottery numbers. Maybe if the have system that people can see where they are within the lottery number then a lot would feel more comfortable.

      They have owned a house on my block for 7 years. It has been “on the market” with a for sale sign the entire time. Many people have gone through all the hoops they ask for and it’s never been sold. I don’t understand why? It has not been maintained in years. The front has vines growing up right to the roof. Something is definitely not right. Tax rolls say the county owns it. It’s tax free I guess because it’s owned by a nonprofit or the county. I bet a lot of application fees have been collected on this “for sale” house! Unbelievable!

      My only concern is the Lottery for affordable apartments. Unfortunately you only have for example 40 units allocated for affordable and 800 applicants apply for the units. The probability of being 1-40 is so unlikely it will take several years before your name is call.
