  As a military family we have bought and sold houses with many different realtors over the years. Patty Calhoun was one of our favorites! We interviewed three realtors before choosing her to help us find our new home and we couldn't have been more pleased. She was friendly, honest, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Patty was promptly responsive via text and phone call throughout our searching and closing process. She was available full time to work around our wacky schedule and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. This is not the case for every realtor in the area. She also gave excellent recommendations for any contractor, mortgage agent, utility company we needed to work with during the purchase. The one time we didn't think to ask for her advice first, we hired a crew that did noticably mediocre work. One of the things that drew us to Patty during the interview process was that she said real estate was her job but it was truly important to her that we were happy as a family in the end - and this philosophy showed. She steered us away from homes that would have meant a bigger profit for her by pointing out defects we would not have noticed as newcomers to the area unfamiliar with basements, heating systems, etc. She was a great advocate, helping us find options that fit our family but also wouldn't be difficult to resell in the future - a unique problem military families face. Also, after we purchased, Patty didn't just disappear like some realtors do after handing you off to a finance department. She stayed in touch frequently and helped ensure we were settled, making certain we southerners called the heating company in time to fill the tank before it snowed and sharing which companies in town offered fair pricing. We are very happy in our new home and would definitely recommend Patty as your next realtor!

  To say I am disappointed in the service I received is an understatement. I drove from Albany NY to view a property in Dexter NY and Joy was a no show, no call no text!! Unbelievable!!!! Text confirmation to prove the day and time Too! What a waste of my time, money and day!!!!!
