  I had the worst experience with Huntington. I have my car loan through them. They took 2 payments from my account and instead of refunding me the extra money immediately back to my account, they sent a paper check. It took 4 days to get authorization for the refund, then it took another week before I even got the check in the mail. In this day when we can do simple transfers with Venmo or PayPal, a national bank cannot refund me immediately when it was their fault in the first place? I am currently seeking a different establishment that is local to refinance with. Their lack of concern for mine and my family's well being during the time we didn't have any money was deplorable. No one wanted to help and could only say "this is our policy". We couldn't get groceries or dog food. We had to hold off on getting toiletries. 2 other payments bounced. All because they took that second payment and wouldn't refund it timely. The customer service representatives are incompetent at best. I got 4 different stories from 4 different customer service reps. Stay away.
