      I am not a customer of this bank but I did have to stop in real quick to cash a check. I had zero problems doing so, customer service was excellent. I was in and out in no time. I would recommend this bank!

      I work in the same building as Independent Bank. My employer is a long time client of bank. I had purchased work supplies and was reimbursed by my job in the form of a check. I went downstairs into the bank to cash it (as I have 3 other times) and was charged $5.00 to cash the check as I am not a client of their bank. I guess it doesn't matter that my employer has been a client with multiple accounts for over 20 years. Won't go back, certainly WONT switch my accounts to Independent Financial Bank now.
