      No one ever answers the phone. I had a debt card compromised,it took 2 weeks and 3 trips to bank branch to get a new card after mistake after mistake. I used Commuity bank for years, so I just continued with Independent after Community closed. I live 46 miles from the closest banch.They have the worst customer service I've ever seem and more excuses then you know what.

      The bank has changed ownership and names several times over the years. The service since Independent Bank took over has gone downhill. I waited ten minutes today for a teller at the drive thru window with no one in front of me. There was only one teller to serve inside and drive thru. Most times if there is a drive thru teller they have to go upfront to a teller station further inside the bank. Seems like management has no regard for customers time. Very disappointed with customer service at the bank. I’ve been a customer at this bank for over 35 years but am ready to change banks if service does not improve soon.
