      Proud Island Federal member here! I've always had a ton of anxiety surrounding my personal finances- their banking app and super friendly staff make everything stress-free and convenient. (they also make these cute custom credit card covers- mine has a picture of my puppy on it!)

      Back in June I bought a new car, and the dealer for some reason got my loan through this island Federal. Which, I'm 45yrs old born and raised on this island and never heard of them before. So, my personal bank accounts are kept with chase. Which if you don't have an actual bank account with federal, they make it nearly impossible to make a payment from an outside bank. Every month I have to call federal to make my payment, get transferred several times, and need my routing and account number. Because they refuse to take my debit card over the phone, and they refuse to store my account info. This has been nothing but a headache. Some of the employees here can also be very rude (these are YOUR company policies, not mine) and some employees barely speak English. Now I went as far as explaining all of this to my lawyer and finding out about getting my loan transferred to a more feasible bank. So keep in mind, if you don't already have a personal account here, then most definitely do not take a loan from here!
